Core Studies Certificate

Core Studies are a block of 11 “core courses” made available for students not matriculating towards a degree program. These courses provide a solid foundation within the church or ministry regardless of academic pursuits and career aspirations of individual students.  Students completing these studies will be awarded a “Core Studies Certificate.” The core courses are also included in the bachelor’s degree programs in order to ensure continuity of theological study throughout all programs offered. Core Studies consists of the following classes:

• New Testament Survey I
• New Testament Survey II
• Old Testament Survey I
• Old Testament Survey II
• Bible Doctrine
• Blood Covenant
• Ministerial Ethics
• Apologetics I
• Apologetics II
• Life and Teachings of Christ I
• Life and Teachings of Christ II

* The core courses are strongly recommended for use as part of mandatory ministerial training programs and will be required for ministerial training programs through the Rapha Alliance in addition to the Ministry of the Mantle I, II, and III Curriculum.

Master’s/ Doctoral Prerequisite Core

All students desirous of obtaining a graduate degree (Master’s and/or Doctorate), who have not had formal Biblical Studies, are required to take the following 18 hours of core classes prior to acceptance in the program:

Apologetics I
Blood Covenant
Bible Doctrine
New Testament I
Old Testament I
Ministerial Ethics
