Beth Rapha Christian College and Theological Seminary (BRCC) believes in Reformed Theology,  a Protestant theological system and approach to the Christian life heavily advanced by renowned theologian, John Calvin. The theology is often summarized in the Five Points of Calvinism and is best known for its doctrines of predestination and total depravity, stressing the absolute sovereignty of God in salvation and in His Lordship; simply meaning God is in control of all people, and all things, at all times!
Colossians 1:16, âFor by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisibleâ¦regardless of what or who they are, all things were created by Him and for His purpose.â
John 1:3, âAll things were made by Him; and without Him, nothing was made that was made.â
Total Depravity – The total inability of humanity’s ethical nature to follow God; it teaches that fallen people are morally and spiritually unable to follow God or escape their condemnation before him. Following God only comes through His divine intervention; in which He changes the unwilling hearts from rebellion to submissive obedience.
Predestination â Sometimes referred to as âunconditional election,â means God has, by the counsel of His own will, made a determination of whom He wishes to choose and save by His mercy alone. These elected ones have been chosen from eternity before the foundation of the world. *Predestinated means to be determined or decreed beforehand.
Ephesians 1:4-5, âAccording as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.â
All classes taught at BRCC are based solely on the Holy Scriptures and biblical principles. Our instructors do not deviate from the Holy writings and therefore, our students experience sound doctrine and biblical teaching in its purest form!
Revelation 22:19, âAnd if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.â
